Post only half the screen appears in my monitor

If your monitor has got an auto dectect screen buttons then press it if not then try to do it manually untill you match the limits of the screen.

To do it you can simply do as:-
-right click
-properties
-setting
-change resolution

yes i did check the monitor with another pc but the same problem arose. Theres definately some problem with monitor itself. and there is no problem with the resolutino as well.

it may be as simple as a weak or loose solder connection on the circuit board inside. Solder joints get old over time and can become loose and cause problems like that. If you can find someone willing to open it up and knows how to solder, I bet they could find the problem, but maybe not.

You may still be able to find a tech that knows how to troubleshoot and repair it.

first try to check that the cables are connected properly or it can be a video card problem.so first check the cables if the problem is still there try to change the video card.hope it works.
